Juncos Hollinger Racing Cap Off The 109th Running of The Indianapolis 500 with Top 10 Finish
Juncos Hollinger Racing (JHR) completed the 109th Running of the Indianapolis 500, with its best-ever result at the Greatest Spectacle in Racing: a P8 finish by Conor Daly.
Daly started his No.76 ampm Chevrolet from P11 in the 33-car field, before quickly making his way into the top 5. He led the field for 13 laps before a vibration forced an early stop for new tires. Daly then managed the situation putting up an incredible fight during a tough final stint to secure Juncos Hollinger Racing their best ever finish at the biggest race on the INDYCAR calendar.
Sting Ray Robb started the race in his No.77 “We The People” Goodheart Animal Health Center Chevrolet from P17. On the 91st lap, following a restart, Robb was entering turn two when contact between two cars ahead forced him into the wall. The unlucky incident resulted in heavy damage ending Robb’s day early.
Dave O’Neill, Juncos Hollinger Racing Team Principal: “After a month of incredible preparation, execution, and grit, we came home with P8, earning the best qualifying and race result in JHR history at the Brickyard. Both cars showed strong pace all month. We narrowly missed the Fast 12 by .08mph but the entire build-up from testing through qualifying showed how much progress we’ve made as a team. Both crews did an amazing job in pit lane, our engineering group made excellent strategic calls, and both drivers got off to impressive starts on race day.”

En una parrilla de 33 autos, Daly partió desde la posición número 11 en su Chevrolet número 76 luciendo un full livery de ampm.
