I’m very excited to be joining JHR for the 2024 season. I’ve been watching the team progress during the last couple of years and I’m looking forward to bringing my experience into the ‘shop, meeting all the team and getting the season off to a positive start.
An instantly-recognisable name in the world of international motorsports, Romain sustained a long and successful career in F1 – starting 181 Grands Prix and finishing on the podium ten times – before he joined the NTT INDYCAR SERIES grid in 2021.
The 37-year-old immediately found front-running pace on American asphalt and finished P13 in the 2023 drivers’ points. Scoring a brace of P2 finishes at Long Beach and Alabama was a reminder of the talent Romain possesses.
Moving to JHR for 2024 marks the beginning of a new and exciting challenge for the Frenchman. As a natural leader, he’s expected to boost the team’s performance levels both on and off the track.
