Juncos Hollinger Racing signs Rinus VeeKay for its 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES campaign

A new era for Juncos Hollinger Racing in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES starts today, as the team signals its ambition by signing Rinus VeeKay as its new lead driver for the 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season.

The signing of Rinus, 25, plays a pivotal role in the team’s continued push toward the front of the grid and underlines Juncos Hollinger Racing’s determination to further improve its results in coming years.

Rinus, who finished 14th in the 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES, brings six seasons of INDYCAR experience, with a Rookie of the Year title, one victory, two pole positions, two fastest laps, five podiums, and 33 top ten finishes from 97 starts to his name. He is also the youngest front row starter in the Indianapolis 500’s 114-year history.

A native of Hoofddorp, Netherlands, Rinus is the most notable Dutch presence in INDYCAR since two-time Indy 500 champion Arie Luyendyk, who competed in American open-wheel racing in the 1980s and 1990s.

Juncos Hollinger Racing celebrated several highlights during 2025, including four top eight finishes in as many oval races, and it is determined to build on this momentum. Signing Rinus is only the first of several upcoming initiatives by Juncos Hollinger Racing to cement its position as a consistent challenger in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.

A highly capable leadership team, including a technical group spearheaded by former F1 veteran David Brown and former INDYCAR SERIES vice president of technology Will Phillips, is already working around the clock to create a further improved platform for continued success in 2026 and beyond.
