Juncos Hollinger Racing heads to Nashville aiming to build on Mid-Ohio momentum

Juncos Hollinger Racing heads to Nashville Superspeedway this weekend looking to build on one of its strongest performances of the 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season as the championship continues with the Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix.

Fresh from a fourth-place finish at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, where Rinus VeeKay matched the team's second-best INDYCAR result and best road course finish, Juncos Hollinger Racing arrives in Tennessee with growing confidence after demonstrating genuine front-running pace throughout the weekend.

While VeeKay's result captured the headlines, Mid-Ohio reflected the continued progress being made across the organization. From a productive open test and Firestone Fast Six qualifying performance to strong race execution and consistently competitive pit stops, Juncos Hollinger Racing continues to strengthen every aspect of its program as it looks to establish itself among the championship's leading teams.

This weekend presents a very different challenge. Nashville Superspeedway's 1.33-mile D-shaped concrete oval features 14 degrees of banking and is renowned for producing close, high-speed racing. Across 300 laps, drivers must carefully balance outright speed with tire management while managing the challenging bump on the back straight, where maintaining momentum is key.

With practice, qualifying and final practice all taking place on Saturday before Sunday's race, teams will have just two days to prepare for one of the most demanding oval events on the calendar. Firestone will once again provide teams with two tire specifications as strategy and long-run consistency become critical over the 300-lap distance.

For VeeKay, Nashville provides another opportunity to continue the momentum generated at Mid-Ohio. The Dutchman arrives on the back of his strongest weekend since joining Juncos Hollinger Racing and will be looking to continue his climb towards the top 10 in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES standings.

On the opposite side of the garage, Sting Ray Robb and the No. 77 Chevrolet continue to make encouraging progress as the team works to maximize every opportunity across the second half of the season. Every position remains significant as the championship enters its decisive stages.

The No. 76 Chevrolet will carry the colors of ARCO throughout the weekend while also promoting the Nuclear Clean Air Energy campaign. Juncos Hollinger Racing will welcome a large number of partners and guests to Nashville as part of an extensive activation program, underlining the continued growth of the organization both on and off the track.

Team Perspective

Rinus VeeKay, No. 76 Chevrolet:

"We’re bringing a lot of momentum from Mid-Ohio, so Nashville will be another good opportunity to show the progress we’ve made this season. This weekend is a very different challenge though, with the high speeds, long green-flag runs and the importance of managing the tires over the course of the race. It’s also a big weekend for JHR with ARCO returning on the No. 76 Chevrolet, so we’re looking forward to putting on a strong weekend for our partners and everyone coming to support us.”

Sting Ray Robb, No. 77 Chevrolet:

"I’m really looking forward to getting back in the car at Nashville, a track I enjoy. We’ve shown some good progress on the ovals this season, and I’m confident in the work this team has been putting in, so hopefully we can put together a strong weekend and get the result we know we’re capable of."

Dave O'Neill, Team Principal, Juncos Hollinger Racing:

"Mid-Ohio was an important weekend for us because it showed the progress we've been making as a team. We had a fast car from the test onwards, qualified in the Fast Six and raced with the best teams in the championship all afternoon. That's exactly the direction we want to keep moving.

"Nashville is a completely different challenge. It's a demanding oval where you've got to be quick over a long run, look after the tires and stay out of trouble. The encouraging thing for us is that we've shown progress on road courses, street circuits and ovals this season, so we're looking forward to seeing what we can do this weekend.

"We're proud to have ARCO on the No. 76 Chevrolet alongside the Nuclear Clean Air Energy campaign, and we'll be welcoming a lot of partners and guests to Nashville. Building strong relationships off the track is just as important as continuing the progress we're making on it.”
