Juncos Hollinger Racing eyes another front-running performance on INDYCAR's first visit to Markham
Juncos Hollinger Racing heads to Ontario this week for INDYCAR's first visit to the all-new Streets of Markham, encouraged by its strongest run of form of the 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season. Rinus VeeKay arrives in Canada after securing the team's third top-five finish in the last five races and his fourth top-six result in the last seven, following another fourth-place finish in Portland last time out.
VeeKay's Portland performance also saw the Dutchman qualify and finish as the highest-placed Chevrolet-powered driver while matching his best race result of the season and maintaining 10th in the championship standings. Team-mate Sting Ray Robb will be looking to convert recent encouraging pace into a stronger result.
The Ontario Honda Dealers Indy moves to the all-new Streets of Markham for the first time this weekend. Built in the eastern precinct of Markham's downtown district, the temporary 12-turn, 3.52-kilometre (2.19-mile) circuit features long straights, technically demanding sections and a double-sided pit lane. Sunday's race will cover 90 laps and 197.1 miles, with every team facing the challenge of getting to grips with a brand-new venue.
With no previous race data available, every lap of practice will be critical as teams establish the optimum setup before qualifying. With the benefit of extensive road and street course testing during the second half of the season, Juncos Hollinger Racing will be aiming to carry its recent momentum onto another new challenge as the championship enters its decisive final stretch.

We were quick from the first practice session, delivered our strongest qualifying performance of the season and came away as the leading Chevrolet-powered team in both qualifying and the race. That's another clear indication of the progress we're making and gives everyone a lot of confidence heading into Markham and the final stretch of the season.
"A brand-new street circuit presents a different challenge because everyone starts with a clean sheet of paper. There are no reference points from previous races, so preparation, adaptability and execution become even more important.
